Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Year 3 entertained their audience brilliantly this morning when they provided an assembly about their learning on Ancient Egypt. They told us about the lives and cultural practices of Ancient Egyptians showing us their art work, writing and even re-enacting a mummification. They spoke clearly and confidently to their audience and finished off with a wonderful song and some great dance moves. As well as being entertained we learned many things about the Ancient Egyptians. Thank you Year 3!
The children in Years 1-4 enjoyed some musical workshops this week from Miss Yui from North Tyneside Music Hub. The children used the Makey Makey app to explore how to conduct sounds through their bodies and use these sounds to compare and perform music.
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our school community in raising £3280 for CAFOD. We completed the Big Lent Walk as a whole school and the donations have been flooding in. We know there are still a few more to come but this fundraising will make a huge impact to all those in global poverty and war so THANK YOU!
