TRAVELLING TO SCHOOL

Our school is located on Farringdon Road in the heart of Marden Estate, Cullercoats.

There are three entrances to our school, the main one is located on Farringdon Road and there is also one on Ennerdale Road and one on Kirkstone Avenue.

These entrances are located on residential streets with houses containing driveways, so roadside parking in these streets at school drop off and pick up times is challenging.

We ask that visitors to school and parents park with due consideration and ensure that they do not obstruct access to driveways.

We are lucky to be co-located with our Parish Church and our Parish Priest kindly allows school to use the church car parking facilities. 

We have been working with our children and North Tyneside's Go Smarter team to look at ways to promote sustainable travel to school and have developed a St Mary's School Travel Plan.
