This page provides information regarding applying for a place at St. Mary's Catholic Primary School. Your child does not have to be baptised Catholic to attend our school, we welcome pupils of all faiths and none into our school community and currently have a large number of pupils who are not baptised Catholic.
Applications for Reception Class are made as part of the North Tyneside Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme. Information about this scheme, our school's admission policy and the appeals process can be found in the documents made available on this page.
Applications for our Nursery Class are made directly to the school. St. Mary's is able to offer the Universal 15 hour offer for 3 and 4 year olds and also the 30 hour offer for eligible families. Both of these offers provide 'Qualified Teacher Led' provision for children for all hours.
The school's Morning and Out of School Clubs are also able to offer extended hours care to those who require it. Information on how to make applications for our nursery class is provided below.
Please contact our school office if you have any further questions or queries regarding admission to our school.
