  • Patience

    Sat 11 Dec 2021

This term we have been learning and thinking about Patience as part of our Values Curriculum.  Advent is a good time to explore 'Patience' as we wait for Jesus birth at Christmas.  Each class has used different ways to explore and develop an understanding of Patience and it's importance in our interactions and relationships.  We recorded our learning in our class values books and had an assembly to share how we learned about patience with our friends in other classes.

  • Advent Tree Dedication

    Fri 03 Dec 2021

Every year during Advent as we prepare for Christmas we dedicate our Tree.  This year our tree is dedicated to Joy.  In scripture we hear of the joy Mary felt at hearing that she was going to have a baby, God’s son.  We also know that a ‘Choir of Angels’  joyfully announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds on the hillside.

The children each made an Angel to hang on our tree and thought about what they could do during Advent to bring Joy to their friends, family, community.
