• Welcome Assembly

  This morning Y6 led a wonderful ‘Welcome Assembly’ where they introduced their reception class special friends to our school community and welcomed them to our school family.

  Y6 parents, it must seem like the blink of an eye since your children were being welcomed to the family.  Now they are in the role of extending that welcome, being a special friend and setting that example to the newest members of our family. I know you’ll agree that they are doing a super job and making us all very proud of them.

  Reception Class parents, we hope you enjoyed your first school assembly and feel assured that your child will be nurtured and supported as they grow and learn in our school family.

  Reception class you have ‘Special Friends’ in Y6 but you also have friends in all years in school and we will all work to make sure that during your time in school you feel safe and happy.

  

• Meet our 2022 Mini Vinnies

  Thank you to the Y6 pupils who have volunteered to be our School Mini Vinnies.  They have chosen to take on the role of sharing God’s light and love within our school community and beyond.   We had a lovely induction service in the blessed sacrament chapel where they made their pledge and prayed the Mini Vinnie prayer for the first time. They have pledged to strengthen their friendship with Jesus, care for others in our school community and care for God’s world.  They will organise opportunities and events throughout the year to support this and we look forward to supporting them in their roles.

  

• RIP Queen Elizabeth II

  We are all very sad to mourn the loss of our beloved Queen.  We are grateful for her service, duty and love.  She has been a constant, a shining beacon in our lives.  We give thanks to God for all she has done, may she rest in peace.
