  Today is Youth Friday and we are invited to be 'joyful in hope' and to share our joy and love with others. We are asked to strengthen our relationship with God through a 5 minute prayer exercise called 'The Examen'.

• Children In Need 2018

  St. Mary's children supported Children in Need by making a donation to wear their own clothes rather than school uniform for the day.   Our 'mini vinnies' group ran a Pudsy raffle.  Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us to support this worthy cause.  Pictured below are our lucky raffle prize winners!

  

• Amazing Art Work

  This week saw the opening of our annual Big Art Exhibition.  The theme of our Big Art week this year was 'Oceans'.   Some classes used a book as their stimulus, others looked at more topical environmental issues.  Whichever way the teachers and pupils interpreted the theme the result was a amazing array of art work using a wide range of materials and media.

  A huge thank you to all the staff for the additional work and time that goes into this annual event.  It is wonderful to see the pride with which the children show their parents and other family members around the exhibition.
