May Procession

Thank you to our parents and parishioners who joined us this afternoon for our May Procession.  
Mary is the patron saint of our school an we wanted to take the opportunity to honour her by having a traditional May Procession.  We gathered in church where our children led us in scripture readings, bidding prayers a litany and hymns - it was a lovely celebration of prayer & song during which Robyn crowned Mary ‘Queen of the May’.  We then processed Mary back to school & everyone laid a flower at her feet.  We were blessed with beautiful sunshine so we were able to take our time and enjoy this wonderful experience.
