Lent 2020

This week we began the season of Lent with special Ash Wednesday liturgies for KS1 & KS2. The children thought about ways they can grow and change in Lent and as a school we asked the children and staff to create fish that contained their Lenten Promise to add to our Lent prayer area. The Mini Vinnies launched their Lent Prayer group, every Wednesday lunchtime and also their Lenten Challenge - to fill the class bottles with 1p,2p and 5ps which will support our chosen charities; Maggies Newcastle, Legacare Newcastle and SVP.
