House Teams

At St Mary's the children are allocated a House Team when they enter our Reception Class. They are part of this house throughout their time with us. The houses are made up of children from each class in school and is a great opportunity for children to support each other. The houses are named after local saints. The children gain house points throughout the year through hard work, living out their values, through sports and play. Each half term the winning house receives a reward with their house teacher. We even compete for the House Cup at Sports Day.

Last week the children came together to create art, prayers and mottos for their houses. They spent the morning learning about their house saint and discussing what it means to be a part of that house.
