Hockey Festival

On Tuesday 1st February 2022, four Y5 pupils and six Y6 pupils from St Mary’s went to St. Thomas Moore for an amazing hockey festival. There were 4 other schools as well as us competing their hardest.

The first team we faced were St Aidan’s. They were a strong team but with resilience we managed to win 7-0.

The second team we were up against were St Columba’s. They played their best but so did we. The score at the end of the game was 5-0 to us.

The next team that we faced were a strong team called St. Bernadette’s and we did really well to walk away with an 11-0 score-line which fully concluded the professionalism in our great team efforts.

Finally, we played a good team called St. Josephs and we played to our limit and beyond against this great team to bring back an amazing 10-0 win.

This only means one thing… St. MARY’S WERE THE WINNERS!!!!!!!!!!

We all really enjoyed it and can’t wait to represent the school again.
