Catholic Social Teaching

Many organisations including schools do things to show care for the planet local and global community and to raise funds for charity.

What should set us apart as a Catholic School is not what we do but WHY?

Our faith calls us to love God and to love our neighbours in every situation, especially our sisters and brothers living in poverty. Following in the footsteps of Christ, we hope to make present in our unjust and broken world, the justice, love and peace of God. 

We can achieve this by following Catholic Social Teachings. 

Today Mark Maughan from CAFOD visited our school and delivered a series of interactive workshops to help our children develop their knowledge and understanding of Catholic Social Teacing and how we can live out these principles in our lives.   We will be looking at this further during the season of Lent.
