Huge congratulations to Year 2 who finished in 2nd place in the Sumdog North East of England Maths Competition. Well done to Isaac, Skye and Magnus who f8nished in the top 10 pupils.

Year 4 had a fantastic time at the Tag Rugby festival at St Thomas More today, with amazing resilience and sportsmanship on display

Year 5 held their class assembly this morning, all about the Anglo Saxons. They shared all of the their wonderful learning from the past few weeks with the rest of our school. All of the children read brilliantly and were great at entertaining their audience. Huge well done!

Today is World Mental Health Day and the theme is 'Accessing Services'. Throughout the day the children and staff will explore how to get support for themselves or offer support to others when they need it. Year 5 have had a fantastic day at Jarrow Hall’s Anglo Saxon farm. We spent the morning learning about religion and weapons, followed by an afternoon in the farm and reconstructed Anglo Saxon houses. It was an amazing experience and really helped our learning come alive!
