Sports Day
The sun shone down on us for what was a fabulous Sports Day 2026. The children competed in their ‘Houses’ with every child who crossed the finish line earning points towards the House total. The children, whilst competitive, showed great sportsmanship and support of their peers. Year 4 at Tennis
Our Year 4 pupils had a fantastic time at Beverley Park Lawn Tennis Club as part of Healthy Week! Year 1 at Karate
As part of Healthy Week, our Year 1 children enjoyed an exciting school trip to Burns School of Black Belts, where they spent the morning learning martial arts skills. More Pupil Success!
A huge congratulations to George in Year 4, who competed in a swimming gala this weekend. This was his first time racing in an Olympic-sized pool, taking on swimmers from clubs across a huge area, stretching from Scotland all the way down to Middlesbrough. Year 2 Local Fieldwork
Our fantastic Year 2 pupils have been out in our local community, developing their map-reading and fieldwork skills—building confidence, curiosity and a real connection to the world around them. Musical Assembly
We were treated to a wonderful musical concert by 44 of our children, who take part in instrumental lessons at school. They showcased a wide range of instruments, including piano, keyboard, violin, trombone, trumpet, flute, guitar and ukulele. Celebrating Pupil Success!
We are unbelievably proud of Juliet, a Year 5 pupil, who was invited to attend the Portico Sadie Massey Awards in Manchester, where she came second (highly commended) in the KS2 category. Juliet wrote a beautiful story called ‘Heidi’s Kin’ and took inspiration from Katya Balen (she wrote a book called ‘October October’ about a girl with ASD who lives in the forest) & Jacqueline Wilson.
