Our Year 2 pupils had a fantastic visit to Cullercoats RNLI Lifeboat Station today, learning all about water safety and the vital work of our local lifeboat crews. This exciting trip linked perfectly with their local history learning about Grace Darling, helping children understand bravery at sea and our area’s rich maritime heritage. Our Reception children loved their morning walk to the quarry, exploring our local area and noticing the signs of spring all around them They asked thoughtful questions, spotted changes in the environment and enjoyed learning about their locality through real‑life experiences.
