Year 1 at Karate
As part of Healthy Week, our Year 1 children enjoyed an exciting school trip to Burns School of Black Belts, where they spent the morning learning martial arts skills. From practising new moves to building confidence, focus and discipline, the children threw themselves into every activity with great enthusiasm. Year 2 Local Fieldwork
Our fantastic Year 2 pupils have been out in our local community, developing their map-reading and fieldwork skills—building confidence, curiosity and a real connection to the world around them. Year 2 visit Cullercoats RNLI
Our Year 2 pupils had a fantastic visit to Cullercoats RNLI Lifeboat Station today, learning all about water safety and the vital work of our local lifeboat crews. This exciting trip linked perfectly with their local history learning about Grace Darling, helping children understand bravery at sea and our area’s rich maritime heritage.
