Year 4 at River Pont

Our Year 4 pupils spent a fantastic morning exploring the River Pont as part of their Geography fieldwork studies.

The children worked like real geographers, investigating how rivers change along their course by measuring the depth, width and speed of the river at different locations, as well as examining and comparing the sphericity of rocks!

It was wonderful to see the children applying their classroom learning in a real-world environment, developing their teamwork, observation and data-collection skills while enjoying the outdoors. We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, curiosity and excellent behaviour throughout the trip.
