Sir Bobby Robson Cup Football

This group of Y6 children took part in the Sir Bobby Robson Trophy yesterday.

This is a special event that is organised by the Greath North Children’s Hospital alongside NUFC Foundation. We were nominated to take part by a past pupil who has received treatment there.

Our children were amazing winning 2 out of their 4 games. If they could have found a way to win their final game they would have won the competition outright.  A wonderful performance but more importantly, they had a great afternoon. They had fun, played some amazing football and behaved exactly how we would want them to.  They had a determination to succeed but also showed great sportsmanship and respect to opponents and referees.
