National Numeracy Day

Today we celebrated National Numeracy Day by inviting our parents into school to do some maths work with their children.  Our teachers organised a range of maths activities in their classrooms and parents/grandparents worked with their children to complete these.  There was a wonderful buzz around school as children talked knowledgeably and enthusiastically about maths and showed their grown-ups how they use their number fluency to solve problems.

Thank you to all the adults who joined us and made this a memorable maths lesson for the children.
