E SAFETY MEETING for all parents

Parents of all children in both Key Stages 1 and 2 are invited to attend a very important meeting on the subject of E Safety.

Our world is changing at an alarming speed with new technologies being introduced every day. It is this world that our children know as theirs. They navigate technological innovations with impressive skills. Sadly, this does not always mean that they are safe, however skilled they may like to think they are.Our children are still young, impressive, accepting and therefore vulnerable. We would like to work with our parents to help to keep our children safe while using these new technologies whether at school or at home. We have invited Dean Jackson, chief advisor for ICT in North Tyneside, to come to school to share his expertise with us all and give us tips in how to manage our children’s safe learning in this ever changing environment. Please try to make the effort to attend this meeting, we feel sure that you will learn a great deal from it.

This meeting will be held on Tuesday 6th May at 6:00pm in the school hall.
